Applying ubtans daily is not required.Thrice a week is enough for our ubtans to exfoliate your skin,tighten it and leave it cleansed and glowing.

Yes it will brighten and whiten the skin because our ubtans contain natural whitening and brightening ingredients like orange peel powder,rhassoul clay,organic turmeric powder,mulethi,tomato powder,manjishth ,essential oils of lemon,orange,grapefruit.For a natural bleaching experience,you can add a few drops of lemon juice to the paste you have made for applying.

Yes ,you most certainly can.In fact we urge you to add new ingredients to your ubtan paste to get a complete spa like experience.Some of the ingredients that can be added are honey,lemon juice,tomato juice,vegetable juice,curd,rosewater,raw milk,whey and more.

All our ubtans are very carefully formulated to make every jar the best for you.We have a whole range of ubtans that meet the requirement of every skin type.

Please store them in the refrigerator after opening the jar.Since we do not use any chemical preservatives in our products,it is very important to handle the jars with clean hands and avoid any contact with moisture or dampness.

Yes ,our ubtans remove tan because the y have been formulated with ingredients like orange peel powder,manjishtha,khair,sweet almond powder,turmeric,tomato powder, mulethi,kaolin clay,oats,essential oils of lemon and narangi and a whole lot of very natural de tanning ingredients.
We also have a DETAN UBTAN designed especially for this purpose using tomato powder as its main ingredient.Tomato powder is known for its astringent and detanning properties.It removes tan,lightens dark spots and scars and leaves the skin glowing and radiant.

Yes,our GENTLE ACNE CARE UBTAN very effectively controls pimples and acne breakouts.It is a combination of clays and herbs which absorb excess oil,toxins and acne causing pollutants from the pores to control breakouts.

Yes our ubtans can be used by all skin types.The medium in which the paste is to be made will vary according to the skin type.
For dry and normal skin,make a paste using curd or raw milk or tomato juice.
For oily skin make a paste using rosewater or fruit juices or vegetable juices.

Yes they can be left on overnight.This allows the oils to penetrate deep into the follicles and nourish the scalp and hair .

We do not add any synthetic fragrances to our products.The rustic fragrance is the natural aroma of the cold pressed oils that blend together with each other in perfect harmony and of the infused herbs and plant extracts.

Just as we regularly need food,our hair and scalp too need their regular dose of nourishment.Pollution,stress use of chemicals on ths hair, application of heating appliances have all contributed to making our hair under nourished ,dry ,brittle and abused.Application of our oils regularly,upto thrice a week reverses some of the damage.

Yes they can very safely be used by children of all ages.These oils concentrate on making the scalp and follicles healthy which will naturally make the hair healthy.Applying these oils on children paves the way for a lifetime of healthy scalp and lustrous hair.

Leaving the oil on the hair for a few days will not cause any harm to your hair ,but it will attract a lot of dust and dirt particles which may lead to dandruff.

It can be used thrice a day due to the high levels of pollution which affect the skin.

It is advisable to use a good moisturiser after using a face wash to replenish the skin’s natural moisture.

Our range of face wash contain different essential oils which keep the skin moist and hydrated.These essential oils deep nourish and make the skin soft and glowing.

Yes the COFFEE AND ORANGE FACE WASH contains freshly hand pounded coffee which has all it’s nutrients intact when added to the face wash.Coffee increases blood circulation to the face to make it glowing and radiant,it reduces puffiness,reduces cellulite,controls acne and pimples and leaves the skin cleansed and exfoliated.The orange essential oil brightens the skin,prevents it from drying out and leaves it hydrated and smiling.

You do not need to wet your face before applying the clay mask.These mask are ready to use and in the right consistency to glide onto your face effortlessly.They have been formulated with rosewater and different oil combinations to make them extremely easy to apply.
Sometimes the mask may feel a little thick as the used clays may have absorbed the liquid ingredients.You can add a few drops of rosewater to make it of the right consistency.

Yes, steaming the face before applying a clay mask increases the effects of the mask manifold times.Using steam opens up the pores which allows the natural ingredients and herbs in the mask to penetrate deeper.

The masks all contain different combinations of clays which draw out excess acne and pimple causing oils,toxins and dead skin cells from the pores .This greatly reduces the frequency of pimples and skin breakouts.The DETOXIFYING CHARCOAL AND ZEOLITE CLAY MASK is specially useful for acne and pimple prone skin.

Clays normally have a tendency to dry out the skin due to it’s inherent property of drawing out any moisture and toxins from the pores of the skin.Our clay masks DO NOT dry out the skin due to the careful formulation which combines different oils, vitamin e and rosewater with the clays.These oils replenish the moisture of the skin to leave it well hydrated and exfoliated.

Yes these clay masks can be used by those with dry skin.The drying effects of the combination of clays has been balanced by the addition of exotic and natural oils like pomegranate oil,walnut oil,vitamin e oil,wheat germ,rosewater.

The clay mask will not harm the skin in any way if it is left on for too long.It may make the skin feel a little dry and stretched.Using a moisturiser will relieve the dryness. For a freshly scrubbed and deep hydrated feel,it is best to wash off the clay masks in the time mentioned on the jars.

Our toners come in spray bottles.It is enough to just spray a few spurts and leave it to absorb by itself.They have been formulated with different essential oils which instantly absorb into the skin.The fragrance of essential oils immediately uplifts and calms the mind.The toners do not need to be dabbed or rubbed.

Our toners can be used multiple times a day to freshen a dull ,tired face and damp,smelly hair.They make great travel companions as they instantly freshen up the face and hair.
These toners balance the PH levels of the skin and shrink open pores to give the skin a smooth ,polished look.
The addition of essential oils like rosehip,neroli and chandan instantly calm and relax the mind.

Yes,the toners can be added to ubtans and face masks.The toner will minimise the appearance of pores and tighten the skin.This will reduce open pores,tighten the existing ones and give the skin a firm,smooth look.

It is not a very good idea to skip the toner in your skin care routine.Toners minimise the appearance of pores and tighten the skin to make the skin look smooth and polished.Our toners balance the PH level of the skin and tone and hydrate dull and tired skin.

These handcrafted soaps can very effectively be used on sensitive skin as they are formulated using glycerine,mango butter and natural beneficial cold pressed oils and essential oils.WE do not add any synthetic colours or fragrances to our soaps.We do not add any petroleum products,dyes or preservatives to the soaps.Our soaps are gentle,nourishing and contain naturally soothing ingredients like oats,turmeric,mango butter,jaggery,fuller’s earth,calamine and essential oils.

We have a range of soaps which are very effective in controlling an oily skin and in reducing acne and pimples outbreaks.These soaps contain charcoal,coffee,clays like multani mitti and calamine,oats and turmeri all of which are natural cleansers which help control pimples and acne.The soap for acne ans pimples are;CARCOAL AND FRENCH CLAY SOAP,CALAMINE AND MULTANI MITTI SOAP,CHARCOAL AND COFFEE SOAP.

Yes our soaps are dairy free as we do not add any dairy products.

Some of our soaps contain honey so they cannot be called vegan.But we have a range that is free of honey and are vegan.

Yes these soaps can be used to wash and cleanse the face.The MULTANI MITTI SOAP,CHARCOAL AND FRENCH CLAY SOAP and CHARCOAL AND COFFEE SOAP are very effective in controlling an oily skin and in reducing pimples and acne.
The other soaps have different skin enhancing properties depending upon the essential oils and ingredients used.

If care is taken to keep the soaps out of water and if they are dried and stored after use,these soaps can last for upto 2 months.

Our soaps contain glycerin which is a humectant.A humectant is something that draws moisture from the air.The slippery beads are simple moisture balls which will dissolve when the soap is used and comes in contact with water.These beads are most prominent during the monsoon months when the air is humid.

Charcoal is a little strong for sensitive skin.We have added mango butter,shea butter,glycerine ans honey to our charcoal bars to balance the charcoal but it may be a little strong for some.A patch test is highly recommended as with all new products.Discontinue if it causes any discomfort.

Curd provides deep nourishment to the scalp and hair follicles ,making them strong and healthy.It is packed with anti bacterial properties which help to control dandruff,scalp infections and an itchy scalp.When curd is combined with our hair pack which consists of herbs,spices and clays,it make for a potent and extremely effective hair pack which strengthens the hair and scalp from inside.A healthy scalp reduces hair breakage,hairfall ,itchiness and dandruff.

Covering the hair locks in the moisture and nutrients provided to the scalp and the hair by the curd and the herbs present in the pack.Leaving the hair uncovered may cause slight dryness in the hair after shampooing.

It lasts for 1 year but should be used within 3 months after opening the jar.Since we do not add any preservatives to our hair pack it is advised to keep it away from moisture and to use clean spoons or hands while handling it.

Yes, you can add ingredients of your choice to the paste but we have tried to make a very balanced hair pack using a large variety of herbs,clays and powders.It is not required to add any other ingredient other than curd to make a paste.

Yes,it can very safely be used on babies and children .It is a combination of pure ,cold pressed oils extracted by traditional methods where heat is not used during extraction to retain the natural properties of the oils.The BODY MOISTURISING OIL is 100 % free from preservatives, fragrances and colour additives.

Yes,this oil makes for a very effective massage oil.It is extremely moisturising, non sticky and fast absorbing .It is non staining so that it is easy to wear clothes straight after a massage.

Yes,it can very safely be used by children.It is a blend of butters,oils and cold pressed oils.The lip balm is free from chemicals,preservatives,synthetic colours and synthetic fragrance.The red colour of the balm is obtained by beetroot powder and the fragrance is from a blend of essential oils.

We have not used any colours in our lip balm.The red tint is obtained from natural beetroot powder which is 100% safe.

Yes,the lip balm will help to lighten dark lips .it contains sweet almond oil which nourishes and lightens the lips .It also contains orange and grapefruit essential oils which naturally brighten and whiten.

The BODY BUTTER is made totally from a well balanced combination of unrefined butters like shea butter,mango butter,cocoa butter,kokum butter and oils.We do not add any synthetic hardening agents to our butters.The summer heat may cause these butters to melt a little which makes the consistency of the product soft.It is advisable to store the body butter in a cold place away from heat.

Yes,the body butter is an excellent choice for children and babies.It is a combination of unrefined butters like kokum butter,shea butter,cocoa butter,mango butter and cold pressed oils.It is free from preservatives,synthetic colours and synthetic fragrances.It can be used a very effective moisturising cream and for nappy rash.
