Hailing from Darjeeling, a picturesque hill station in India, Preity Mittall grew up in the lap of the majestic Himalayas. Making friends with gurgling waterfalls and lush gardens, Preity developed a personal relationship with plants and herbs. After having a six year long successful stint as a jewellery designer her love for nature compelled her to venture into something different.
Attending a workshop on soap making organised by a friend, made Preity realized how rejuvenated one feels when the day starts and ends with all natural, non-toxic products, as opposed to the commercialized chemically loaded fancy products. Digging further into the world of natural handmade beauty products, opened doors to a whole new world of opportunities. Connecting with renowned professionals and certified experts from the field of skin and hair care, helped Preity broaden her horizon. All this followed by numerous workshops and courses gave her a comprehensive knowledge of traditional beauty treatments.
A startling discovery was made after using these natural products was that natural beauty and skincare products didn't make Preity and her daughter's eyes water like they used to on using the conventional store bought bottles.
The handmade blend of herbs also nearly cured Preity of her migraine which had almost disappeared. Friends and relatives had the similar feedback of disappearing acne, tightening pores, lush hair, and smooth, glowing skin.
All this birthed Soap Eleiments and there's been no looking back ever since. Preity has devoted herself to turning nature-care into a spa treatment for all.
